samraja v0.1.4: Islam

An interesting dynamic I am seeing across all the major powers of the world: USA, Europe, India, and China is a conflict with Islam. A common cause that each of these power centers will work together on even if they compete and conflict in other areas. For example, China and the Uyghur genocide, America looking to kick our Somali and Afghanis, Europe trying to deal with the immense North African and Middle Eastern immigrants, and India’s growing disenfranchisement of Muslims.

I think Europe will fall to Islam and will be where the Islamic resistance to Pax Judaica will be waged from. The recent push for a two state agreement by the UK and France seems to be in response to the Islamic elements in those societies.

Unfortunately, I do not think that Islam has the innovative foresight to defeat Pax Judaica. In terms of Islam as a religion it was once one of the most innovative. The simplicity of Islam within its framework are its limiting factor. The basis of Islam is five things: Shahada (Profession of Faith), Salah (Prayer), Zakat(Charity/Almsgiving), Sawm (Fasting during Ramadan), and Hajj (Pilgrimage to Mecca).

Islam as a religion is simple and tries to do away with the contradictions of Judaism and Christianity. Muhammad's innovation and the revolutionary idea of Islam was its core belief of a personal relationship with God. That is the basis of the prayer five times a day. There was no need for an intermediary between the individual and God. Judaism, Catholic Christianity, and Hinduism were characterized by needing interpreters for understanding God. Rabbis, Priests and Brahmins interpreted God. In Islam while there are Imams, the daily prayer is a direct connection to God.

This idea that God could be understood empirically at an individual level was what led to the Golden Age of Islam which we all continue to benefit from in terms of the creation of modern science and mathematics.

This idea of God as personal was revolutionary.

The problem was that Judaism, Christianity and Hinduism took these innovative aspects of Islam. Christianity took it in the form of the Renaissance, Protestant Reformation, and Scientific Revolution which which were copied from Islam. For example, the Protestant Reformation was based on the Gutenberg press, paper was an innovation that the Muslims brought to Europe from China. The idea of the Bible being a personal relationship with God was taken from Islam.

Hinduism on the other hand developed the Bhakti movement from Islam's influence. The Bhakti movement was a person relationship with God whereas before God was limited to Brahmins who interpreted for the rest of society. Bhakti brought access to God to the lower classes and women. Further, the knowledge of God from Sanskrit to the vernacular also happened during this period. As much as Hindus don't like to admit it, Islam has been a major influence on Hinduism.

With the incorporation of these revolutionary ideas of Muhammad into the other religions there was one problem and that was Islam largely stagnated and became dogmatic. While Christianity, Judaism and Hinduism reformed Islam stagnated.

The collapse of the Ottoman Empire after World War 2 and the Caliphate caused a crisis of faith within Islam. The faith has not recovered and can not recover from this. The end result of this is that with the loss of the Caliphate the core of Islam has become one of Jihad. Jihad against the West and Israel, and Jihad against Hindus. The progressivism and coexistence before the 20th century has given way to harsh dogmatism and the rise of political Islam which will lead to Islam’s eventual collapse.

This is where we are: with Pax Judaica and Hindutva there will be a collapse of Islam. Hindutva is rapidly accelerating and accumulating power within India and will destroy and take over all Islamic places of worship. There won’t be a place for Islamic worship within India. After all if Hindutva defines India itself as a holy land for Hindus where does any Islamic site belong in such a place even if that place has been in the country for a millenia? So the future of Islam in India is on its last legs with reconversion the likely long term goal of Hindutva.

The tricky part is the Middle East and North Africa. The bind of these areas is the Arab identity, that Arab identity is bind to Islam. The Hajj binds Arabs and other Muslims to Islam. What happens when Saudi Arabia is subjugated by Israel and Israel commands who can worship in Mecca? It breaks one of the pillars of Islam. Once you destroy the binding of Islam to Mecca you essentially destroy the common identity of Arabs.

I do not know how Islam will recover from this as it is not setup for reformation like the other religions. Maybe the long term goal is to have Israel and Iran make peace once America is out of the picture and have the Persians lead the Islamic world? This would make sense as Persians tend to be highly educated and they could be the ones that reform Islam back to the scientific world view that it once had.

But that is a big if.

I say it is a big if because I do think there is a theological end game that Israel has in mind which converges on Hinduism’s end game for this yuga.
