Kama Sutra

It might be interesting to some to note that I have Kama Sutra as a subject to study. However, in many ways the Kama Sutra is contemporary to the Arthasastra and the Bhagavad Gita. It deals with a Sanatani society. While I don’t think most of the chapters are useful in the modern lens we need to look at the text from a traditional standpoint.

The Kama Sutra was written for wealthy men who had time for leisure while also looking to get ahead in society. It is in this context that we need to understand why certain chapters exist.
