The King of Oil: The Secret Lives of Marc Rich

Daniel Ammann · ★★★☆☆ · 317 pages · 2009

how one man shaped oil

Marc Rich seems to have been the arbitrator of oil even among competing nations spanning the world. First part of the book was interesting about how oil trades are largely hidden, like Iran and apartheid South Africa trading even while politically against each other. Second part of the book dragged a bit mostly as it revolved around Rich’s fugitive status.
