Working Backwards: Insights, Stories, and Secrets from Inside Amazon

Colin Bryar · ★★★★☆ · 304 pages · 2021

I was interested in this book due to the examples of the narrative structure and PR.FAQs that seem to be a big part of Amazon. There are a lot of great insights in the book:

  • Focus on the customer then work backwards

  • work on input metrics not output metrics

  • if it’s someone’s part time job to do something it won’t get done

  • the process for hiring people

Overall a good read
