Financial Engineering of Corporations

It has been quite interesting to invest in a company like Tesla. It is like all of the entire marketplace doesn’t want the messy innovation period of a company but wants the stability of a traditional car company. They want the company to do well and behave like a traditional car manufacturer, have the same deliverables, and work essentially like an existing company.

The world’s capital system seems to have moved away from risk taking ventures on hard things to either maintaining the status quo or simple things that don’t really have true long lasting value.

Examples of companies doing Financial Engineering:

What the most original movie that Disney has done other than reboots and playing it safe? Do they even have anything that fits outside of the norm?

They have struggled to make it out of the Ads business. Their million chat apps haven’t gone anywhere.

They have largely been playing it safe and haven’t done anything completely new.
