I recently added Positions into Sheepdog. This feature has lead to to a new view on how to work on tasks. Defining each individual job and the job post that needs to be done. This is a big part of the figuring out how to delegate. This means when doing a task do it for a while and write the Job Description of what you are doing. Add the tasks to belong to that Position. Do it for a while and create a routine for that role.

This is the job you are looking for and what you will hire others to do or find products to do. This is the Jobs to Be Done methodology.

This heavily simplifies the need to figure out what a person is hired for.
